Polenta with Champignons

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups POLENTA RIVARA
  • 5 cups water
  • 3 ounces butter
  • 6 ounces champignons
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 7 ounces ham cut into dices
  • salt, pepper

Instructions:

Prepare 2 cups of POLENTA (basic preparation). Spread the polenta in two round baking molds, lined with foil, and cool 30' in refrigerator.
In a non-stick skillet cook onion and garlic in butter, add the sliced champignons, the ham, salt and pepper.
Place the champignons mixture over one polenta disc, and cover it (using the foil) with the other polenta disc.
Top the preparation with the mozzarella cheese in slices, and gratin in heat oven.
