- 2 cups POLENTA RIVARA (Basic Preparation)
- 8 ounces minced meat
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 ounces butter
- 1 chopped red pepper
- 4 chopped cloves garlic
- 2 cans whole tomatoes in their liquid
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 3 ounces chopped olives
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
Brown onion, pepper and garlic in butter. Add meat, tomatoes, broth, salt and pepper. Boil for 15 minutes and add olives.
Prepare 2 cups of polenta according to the basic recipe, spread half the preparation in an oven glass bowl.
Cover with the tomato sauce and the mozzarella cheese.
Add another polenta coating, cover with sauce and grated Parmesan cheese to gratin.
